Points to 2 Cloudflare IP addresses from my lookup which is expected as the record is proxied set to. Points to ldn It sounds like the issue could be with your dns cache. If you ever switch it back to Cloudflare, I would flush your cache. I tried a couple of device with Cloudflare dns, google dns, opendns, but they still got the same result which is unavailable to resolve my domain, even using ssh to connect to a grey cloud.
I was thinking about is the problem on the domain side. Since all of my other domains on Cloudflare runs good without problem. How long after the change were you testing it, because it can take sometime for the changes to move over.
I guess at least 8 hours as I do it before I sleep and check after I wake up. I know DNS record updates could be long as 48 hours but it usually takes around 5 minutes for Cloudflare to update.
But after I moved everything back to godaddy, I found everything is running quite smooth and fast. This topic was automatically closed 30 days after the last reply. New replies are no longer allowed.
My server is working and another domain using Cloudflare pointing to that ip works normal. The sub-domains are short forms Etc.

Jake1st May 2,am Jake1st May 2,pm Hi, It seems a new quota appeared today on the number of records registered in a DNS zone Free accounta nicely low and fixed records.
The previous version: The limit per domain is 3, records. Wow, what a slap in the face. They dropped the limit without any warning, could they not send warning emails to customers with 1k or more. I love Cloudflare well, I love them a whole lot less now. Probably going to use something else where the company actually communicates limit changes. Wow is right! You could have at least grandfather us in at the limit, for those us who already had an account with more than records.
What poor service and communication! Your customer support has not adequately replied to my request, just auto replied with the normal how to create a DNS record. It is the proper schema for delegation and it consumes records.
A setup like the one you mentioned should not run on a free plan though but at least on a pro plan, possibly business and in both cases you do not have that limit. And that change was not communicated. I get that it is free and Cloudflare can do whatever they please, but we were on our way to … we were planning on staying and paying. Not so sure. If you planned to sign up for paid plan anyhow, it should be okay.
I agree, Cloudflare could have communicated that better though. Cloudflare is touted as the best. This is our trial run with Cloudflare, this is how they communicate changes? What would you do? Do they do this often? Do you know? The plans? DNS service is the same between Free and Pro plans.
